Spacious studio, 1.5 bathrooms | Available: March 17 - July 11, 2025 | Short or medium term rental | Furnished | All utilities + weekly cleaning included Monthly: $13,000 MXN/month (under $650 USD at current exchange rate) Weekly: $4200 MXN/week (under $210 USD at current exchange rate) Location: Oaxaca de Juarez, Oaxaca This roomy studio apartment is an L shape, so the bedroom area is apart from the living area. In addition to the double bed, it also has an extra single bed that folds up when not in use. It has a huge, totally private terrace. The apartment is very bright, very private, and has it's own independent entrance. It has 1.5 bathrooms–one full bathroom inside the apartment as well as a half bathroom on the private terrace. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for cooking. You'll find instant hot and cold drinking water, coffee and tea for you to enjoy while watching your favourite series or movie on your 70-inch TV (which has Netflix and Prime included). Or, relax on your private terrace, which has two hammocks, outdoor furniture, and a view of Cerro del Fortín hill. A sign on the hillside lights up at night, which is of a famous quote from Oaxaca-born national hero Benito Juárez. The apartment is cute and colourful, and features a unique painting of a famous rescue dog named Frida, by a local artist, among other art. The owner of this apartment is a local Oaxaqueño, who is fluent in both Spanish and English and is honestly one of the nicest people and most generous hosts I have ever met. He really goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and supplies drinking water, coffee, tea, soap, shampoo, toilet paper and more, even for long stays. Weekly cleaning and fresh sheets and towels are included. And of course, all utilities are included. In case you work from home, there is a desk, chair and high-speed wifi. Location: This apartment is located in the Ex-Marquezado neighbourhood, which is next to Centro. There are shops and restaurants nearby, and it's very easy to get to Centro by walking (20 min) or taxi (5 min). It’s close to convenience stores, a pharmacy, bakery, pizzeria, and just 6 minutes on foot to a large supermarket (Chedraui). You can easily flag down a taxi or catch a bus to go anywhere else you might want to go. It's on a main street, Francisco I. Madero. However the apartment itself is up a few stairs and a small ramp, on the second (top) floor, and is towards the back of the property, so it's set away from the street.
